HUDA BEAUTY | Warm Brown Obsessions

Hey everyone,

This post is little late i know i know, I just haven't had the time this week.
I had a poll up on my Instagram the other day wondering if you guys would want a review & swatches of the new
Huda Beauty Warm Brown Obsessions Palette
and thankfully you all wanted it, so here i am.

I picked up the warm brown palette because out of them all it was my favourite.
I bought mine on Cult Beauty, and it is priced at £25 which makes it around €28, seemed like a very fair price. Delivery took up to 5 working days, which was good.
I get to excited with new makeup and hate waiting, typical girl.

When I opened the box, I was like where the hell Is this palette ?
Then I rooted for it and found a tiny little eyeshadow palette. So straight away I was like what the actual hell is this, I was not expecting it to be that small, it looks much bigger on the Huda Beauty instagram. To give you guys an idea of what it is like in person, i found something pretty much the same size as it and that was my Inglot Candy palette. The Inglot palette is more wider than the Huda Beauty palette.

I knew it wasn't going to be a big palette but come on i didn't think it was going to be this small. But really it's not about the size it's about the actual eyeshadows, well to me it is.
The actual packaging is so creative i love it! Its great that it has the colours on the outside of the palette so it gives you an idea of what to expect inside.
It comes with a little plastic slip to put over it too, and it has a mirror!!

The colours in this palette are my favourite colours for eyeshadow, as i'm sure most of you know anyway. These kind of colours just speak to me. There is a great mixture of light and dark shades in this palette too as you can see from the picture below.

Top row - Dark Wine/Brown , Orange, and Warm Red.
Second row - Dark Brown, Yellow Gold Metallic shimmer, and a Cream shade.
Last row - Warm Peach, Light Brown and a Dark Brown with a Red undertone.

There are no names to the eyeshadow's and the eyeshadow pan's are very small which are the only faults in the palette, which aren't that of a big deal.

The shadows are so buttery and creamy, they feel so soft when you swatch them. Even the metallic shimmer shade feels so soft which i was not expecting most colours like that one feel slightly more textured. But I could tell straight away from the feel and swatch that it would be fab on the eyes.

(Swatches are not in order of the colours in the palette)

Now let's talk about the swatches.

First of all, These are only one swipe, one !!!!! Don't they look so good? I didn't really no what to expect because this is the first time i purchased something from Huda Beauty.
I can honestly say I am very impressed, They are so pigmented, there is a little fall out but that really isn't a big deal once the shadows are good right?

I was so impressed with the swatches but There is a difference between swatches on your arm and actually on the eye, so i did not want to get too excited because that's how i was with the Juvias palette and the mattes weren't as great on the eye.

My overall thoughts
Okay friends so if you didn't no already I am extremely impressed and honestly so in love with this palette, I used it the next day I got it to wear to work, I could not wait to try it and my god the shadows are pigmented!!!! They look insane on the eyes, I think this could be my new favourite palette, despite the little size of it.
I totally recommend trying one, I know there small but you will see through that once you play with the eyeshadows.

That is all for my now lovelies, i will have my everyday makeup up during the week, i wanted to get this one up first. So you can keep an eye out for that.
Hope you enjoy another one of my posts, I'll talk to you guys soon!

Love Lyndsey xo
