Makeup Haul - Inglot & More

Hi everyone.

Over the weekend I did a little makeup shopping, needed to add a little bit more to the makeup kit. so I thought I showed you all what I picked up. I went into Inglot and got most of my makeup in there, its definitely my favourite makeup brand at the minute. I also got other makeup in Boots, Bradleys Pharmacy and Debenhams. If you want to see all the makeup I picked up just keep reading :)

 MAYBELLINE

1) Maybelline Dream Velvet Foundation

Iv seen this foundation everywhere lately, and I wanted to try it out for myself so I picked it up in boots for €11.99.

Its a hydrating matte foundation which is perfect to use on a daily basis, I haven't tried it out yet so I'm not sure how it works

If anyone is interested in a review or first impressions just let me know.

2) Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara

Was in desperate need of a good mascara and iv seen a lot of good reviews online on this Maybelline lash sensational mascara.

I picked it up in boots, it was originally €11.99 in boots, but its buy one get the other half price at the moment on Maybelline makeup, so I got it for  €5.99 which is pretty much nothing!!

I haven't got the chance to try this out yet but its meant to work wonders and not clump, flake or smudge.

NYX

1) NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream

The NYX stands everywhere never really have much products left on them when I get to one, (which is just my luck) .

I finally got to get a soft matte lip cream, I got mine in number.19

This is the first one iv purchased and I love it already even though I have only worn it once!

I picked this one up in Bradleys pharmacy for €7.75

The formula of these matte lip creams are amazing!!

Its so soft when you apply it and it doesn't dry out my lips, my lips do get very dry throughout the day when I wear matte lipsticks or liquid lipsticks and with this is one they don't dry at all.

Safe to say I'll be buying them all haha.

This his just one layer of the lip cream and look at the pigmentation it is so good !

2) NYX HD Photogenic Concealer

One of my all time favourite concealers.

I never seem to be able to get this in the shade I use so when I seen that it was there I had to pick it up.

I got this for €7.75 in Bradleys pharmacy.

I like to use the lightest colour in this range which is CW 01 because I love my under eyes to be really bright and look like I'm wide awake.

If you want to know more about this concealer, I have a blog post all about this and the NYX stay matte but not flat foundation if you want to have a read.

URBAN DECAY

1) Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray

Possibly the best setting spray there is at the moment.

I only got the travel size one because I spent more than expected in Inglot and got a few other little bits instead of getting the bigger bottle, but they are still the same and do the same job just smaller in size and wont last as long.

I use this all the time on myself and my clients. It does a great job of keeping my makeup in place for most of the day!!

It works for all skin types which is amazing for any of us makeup artist because it means we don't have to spend more money on different setting sprays for different skin types.

Its oil free, paraben free, and temperature controlled. The travel size one is only €12 and very handy for anyone who wants to try this but doesn't want to pay the full price for the big bottle incase it doesn't work for you.

INGLOT

1) Inglot HD Perfect Cover up Foundation

This is my very first HD foundation to buy from Inglot, and I do not know why I haven't picked it up sooner.

It was €33 and worth every penny in my opinion.

It provides a long lasting coverage, and helps to hide any imperfections.

It also ensures a natural flawless finish. Which I totally agree with, it gave an amazing coverage on my skin and it felt very lightweight too!

I picked up the foundation in number 74, as you can see its dark enough but not too dark and matches to most tan's nicely.

2) Inglot AMC Cream Foundation

Next thing I picked up was this AMC cream foundation.

I wanted to get a foundation that I would be able to mix in with my other foundations to get the right colour shade for my clients and this was the one that the girl helping me in Inglot recommended.

She said she uses it all the time and it works great for her so I said id get it and for €24 you really cant go wrong.

Its a cream foundation that provides a natural finish, it gives a medium to full coverage but very light on the skin, and water resistance.

Also adds that little bit of dewiness and glow to the skin that some people love.

As you can see from the picture above its very light so it will mix well with other foundations, its LW100.

3) Inglot Under Eye Concealer

Couldn't really leave Inglot without a concealer, I am obsessed with concealers for some weird reason.

This under eye concealer was only €16

Like all concealers it helps to cover up dark circles underneath your eyes.

It makes your under eye area become and look smoother, its very lightweight and gives a medium to full coverage.

I got this in a light number 95, it is very light so really helps to brighten up the under eyes.

4) Inglot HD Highlighter Trio

Iv been wanting to try out the new Inglot highlighters since they came out so I had to get one.

I love my highlighters and this was just €14 which is amazing for a highlighter.

This highlighter has 3 colours to it going from a light shade to a more bronzy colour.

You can use each of them as individual highlighters or all as one, its totally up to whoever is using it. which I think is a great for any makeup artist to have in their kit for their clients.

These aren't the best swatches now, I just swatched them once and they seem to be pretty good, but I wont be able to tell if I like them or not until I try them, so I will keep you guys posted if you want!

5) Inglot Freedom Palette

Because I bought the highlighter I had to pick up a freedom palette to put it in.

I got the palette you can put two products in because I already had the Inglot Sculpting powder at home for contouring so I thought it would really handy to have the contour and highlighter together.

This little palette was just €9

6) Inglot Brow Liner Gel

Lastly I got this Brow liner gel for myself because I was in serious need of a new good brow gel.

This was €16 and isn't that big in size at all, its actually very small. But the actual gel itself is so good!

This is a waterproof Brow gel liner, (every girl needs this haha)

I used this brow gel already and I completely fell in love with it! My eyebrows looked so good all day, It didn't start to fade throughout the day which I find some brow products do.

Possibly my new favourite brow gel.

I got mine in the number 20, it is very dark but its not black! Even though I have black hair I don't like my eyebrows being the actual colour of my hair.

If you didn't already no your eyebrows are meant to be one shade lighter than your actual hair.

So that is all the makeup I picked up when I went to Blanchardstown. I hope you guys enjoy this post and if you have any questions do not be afraid to contact me, all my social media accounts are linked below.
