Mini Makeup, Skincare, & Haircare Haul

Hey everyone

Happy Easter to you all.
I've had a quiet enough week, so the other day I decided to pick up a few new bits in my local chemist, and Tesco.

Neutrogena T/Gel Shampoo

When I seen this I had to buy it. My hair gets greasy the day after I wash it and I hate having to wash my hair everyday, so I'm going to give this shampoo a try and see does it make any difference to my hair and see If I can get more than a day out of my hair. I bought this in Tesco, not 100% sure of the price, it was on sale at around €3 or less.

Biore, Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser

I was in need of a deep pore cleanser, I love trying out new skin care products to see what actually works on my skin and to prevent me from getting breakouts. I picked this up in Tesco and it was on sale at about €6.50

Catrice, Prime and Fine Professional Contouring Palette

Catrice has came out with lots of new products including this Contour palette lately, so I picked it up to try out. Can never have to much contour products :) I got this in Ryan's Pharmacy, think is was about €5-6. The pigmentation of this palette is very good for the price, I haven't used it just yet but I will do a first impressions post if anyone is interested.

Catrice, High Glow Mineral Highlighting Powder

Also picked up this new Catrice highlighter. I love my highlighters, so when I seen this I couldn't leave it there, the pigmentation is amazing for the price!! It was less than €6 in Ryan's Pharmacy.

Essences Lash & Brow Mascara

Got this lash and brow mascara by essences, I have tried this the day I got it on my brows to set them in place and it honestly just did not work for me, I found that my brow hairs were just wet and didn't dry for ages and it also didn't keep them in place. This was only around €3 but it isn't worth the buy.

Essences Dip Eyeliner

Picked up this waterproof liquid eyeliner by essence. I have the worst watery eyes so I got this to try out and see if it works or not. Got this in Ryan's Pharmacy also for less than €2, cannot go wrong with liner for €2.

Essences Lipstick

And lastly I got this Essences lipstick in 01 wearing only a smile. I love really my nude lipsticks and I love Essences lipstick there so good for the price! This is was on sale in Ryan's Pharmacy and got it for €1 so of course I needed it

So that's everything I picked up over the past week.

Thank you all for reading,
Have a great Easter.

12 Beauty Hacks / Tip's & Tricks

Hey everyone, Welcome back to my blog :)

So I thought id do a quick post on 12 Beauty Hacks / Tip's & Trick's that all us girls need to no that I myself use, which will help you save money, time or effort in the day .

1 - Shave legs with conditioner

- If you run out of shaving foam, no worries at all, use your conditioner, it makes the legs so soft as you get a much closer shave than shaving foam.

2 - Exfoliate lips with toothbrush and sugar

- If your someone who suffers with dry lips, this is a great way to get them back smooth. Use an old toothbrush and get some sugar, wet the toothbrush and put it into some sugar. Then gently brush over your lips for less than a minute, then wash off any sugar that is felt on your lips. When this is all done make sure you apply some lip balm or Vaseline.

3 - Dry nails with cold water

-If your in a rush and need your nail varnish to dry quick, put your nails under the cold tap but only for a second, this will help the nail varnish dry quicker.

4 - Vaseline/petroleum jelly to help to tame brow hairs

-If your brow hairs are a little crazy and a bit all over the place, Vaseline/petroleum jelly is the best way to tame them. All you need is some Vaseline/petroleum jelly and a mascara wand to brush them into place and apply the Vaseline, this should help them to stay put.

5 - Use cello tape to help with winged liner & eye shadow

- For anyone who struggles to get the perfect winged liner or cannot get a good shape to your eye shadow , then you need to try this. Place a little bit of cello tape to the outer corner of your eye, this will help to get a sharp line and help you not to make a mistake.

6 - Apply shaving foam to make up stains on collars of tops

- A daily struggle for most of us girls. if your like me and love wearing a turtle neck in these cold days then this is a great hack for u. If you do end up getting makeup all over the collar, shaving foam is a great way to get the stain out, just apply a little on the area, rub it in and then put the top in the wash, when it comes out it should be as good new.

7 - Fill in hair line with same colour eye shadow for fuller looking hair

- This is my favourite beauty hack !! I don't have the fullest or thickest hair, especially at the front of my hair line, I have two little patches with less hair, so when I want my hair to look fuller and healthier, all I do is get some black eye shadow with a eye brush and just blend it into my hair line with the less hair, and it makes you look like you've a full head of hair, you can use whatever eye shadow colour to suit your hair.

8 - Make perfume last longer by applying Vaseline to the areas first

-This is such a good tip for anyone who wants there perfume to last so much longer which has to be everyone. Before applying your perfume, get a little bit of Vaseline and rub it in the area you wish to apply your perfume, then spray your perfume and it helps the scent last a lot longer.

9 - Always test foundation on your neck, not face or hand
- Its always so easy to go into a makeup shop and just test a foundation out on your hand and go with that, but your hands are not the same colour as your face, and your face is not always the same colour as your neck, so the best thing to do is test a little bit out on your neck, because you want to your face and neck to match in colour.

10 - Use white eyeliner to makes eyes appear bigger

- Best tip for all those girls who slept in or have a hangover and need to look more awake, apply white eyeliner to your waterline, this will help you look more awake and not so tired as it brightens up your eyes and makes appear them wider.

11 - Coconut oil

- Coconut oil is pretty much used for anything! It can be used as moisturizer for your body and face. Its a good make up remover its all natural, removes your makeup quickly without rubbing or tugging the skin.

12 - Change pillow case at least once a week

- This is really important for anyone who suffers with acne or breakouts. If you do the best thing to do is change your pillow case once a week, because your pillow case builds up with bacteria and if you keep the same pillow case on its just going to make your skin breakout more.

Hope some of these come in handy to you guys :)

Review - Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer

Hey everyone

I recently just purchased the Urban Decay, Naked skin concealer. Iv seen so many Beauty Bloggers and You Tubers rave about it so I had to try it for myself and see what the big hype was and now I completely understand !!!

Everyone has one favourite makeup product that they cannot live without and mine is concealer, I have tired so many of them and not one compares to this one! The Urban Decay Naked Skin weightless complete coverage concealer is a full coverage concealer, but has a very lightweight feeling to it. Most full coverage concealers feel quiet heavy when applied , but this concealer really doesn't, and only need the tinniest little bit to get a good coverage. Its very buildable without looking really cakey. It does need to be set with powder and I like to use Elf translucent mattifing powder to set mine. Once its set, it does not budge, it stays put most of the day which is the one thing us girls want!

There are 8 shades to choose from, From fair neutral to dark neutral. I bought the fair neutral because Its the lightest and I love to be really highlighted under my eyes, it makes me look wide awake even if I just rolled out of bed haha.

So overall this concealer is my absolute favourite and the best one I have tried so far. I fall more and more in love with it every time I apply it which says a lot about it. If your considering whether to buy it or not, I would highly recommend you going to purchase it, I know it is very pricely for a concealer , but you definitely will not regret it ! you can purchase this concealer at any urban decay counter (which are in Debenhams) for €22
