Review, Swatches, First Impressions | Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette

Today's post is all about the new Urban Decay Naked Heat palette. I purchased this over the weekend, well my boyfriend actually got bought it for me so technically i didn't but yall know what i mean. Lets get straight to it.

This palette has been out a while now, but it has only been released in Debenham's in the past couple of weeks. I literally just seen it in person last weekend and my god did them colours scream at me, only thing was the price did not suit me at all, i really could not justify paying €47 when i originally went to only get the makeup products i needed, so my boyfriend being the little cutie that he is, surprised me with it when we got home. To say i was delighted was an understatement.

Packaging
The packaging is so pretty, its way nicer than the other naked palettes, even the box it comes in. The colours are so eye catching and with the gold text it is just fab.
So the box the palette came in sides out from the side instead of opening the box and taking it out yourself like all the other naked palettes, so much handier.
The actual palette itself is exactly the same as the Naked Smoky Palette, it is just a little bit bigger and heavier than the naked smokey. Same as all the rest of them contains a double sided brush that will never be used but the thought is nice.

Eyeshadow Colours
Do i even have to say anything about colours, they are right up my alley like i am obsessed with the colour scheme hence why its called the Naked 'heat' palette. They look insane, perfect colours for autumn in my opinion.

Eyeshadow Formula
Okay so the formulation of these shadows are so much creamier and smoother than the other naked palettes.  The pigment of these are outstanding just from one swatch. From the first few swatches i did i can gladly say i am 100% impressed with these and i am so excited to play around with them.

S w a t c h e s

These are the first 6 shades in the palette starting from the left of the palette with the lightest colour.
All swatches are just one swipe, like look at the pigment of them ! So much better than the previous naked palettes.

Names of the shades from left to right :
Ounce, Chaser, Sauced, Low Blow, Lumbre, He Devil.

These are the last 6 shades in the palette, All swatches are one swipe again, these colours are definitely my favourite in the palette, i love my dark colours.

Name of colours from left to right :
Dirty Talk, Scorched, Cayenne, En Fuego, Ashes & Ember.

Do i have to say much about the pigment? the pictures speak for themselves, there is absolutely no filter on any of these pictures, just taken with natural daylight.

There are 5 Shimmer shades which are Ounce, Lumbre, Dirty Talk, Scorched and Ember.

The shimmer shades i just have no words! They are incredible, they look so different in the palette once there swatched.
Ounce is a more on the sheer side and is my new favourite shade to use on the brow bone.
Lumbre is a golden rose gold shimmer glitter shade, absolutely stunning. Feel slightly more textured that the other shimmer shades which is only because there is some glitter mixed in with the shade.
Dirty Talk is a very metallic copper shade, super creamy and soft!
Scorched is a another shimmer glitter shade which is more of a rose gold copper colour, feels a lot like Lumbre which would be because of the glitter added into the shimmer.
Embre is a pinky purple duo chrome eyeshadow with a hint of gold. My favourite shimmer in this palette.

There are 7 matte shades which are Chaser, Sauced, Low Blow, He Devil, Cayenne, En Fuego and Ashes.
The mattes shades are by the best Urban decay has ever brought out in my opinion, I'm not the biggest fan of there previous palettes anymore, when they first came out i would of but now after playing with so many eyeshadows from different brands, there just not good. Until i used this palette. They are so pigmented and blendable, they blend out so well.
Chaser is a plan flesh toned shade, good for all over the lid.
Sauced is more of a light tan colour, good for starting off in the crease, feels so amazingly smooth.
Low Blow is a darker tan colour, my personal favourite for the crease. Can build up to quiet a nice dark shade.
He Devil a burnt brick red which is my favourite colour in the whole palette!!!!!! Feels a little gritty but blends out so well and can build up to a dark red colour.
Cayenne is a warm chocolate colour, blends well with all the other matte shades.
En Fuego Deep Plum colour, goes perfectly with HeDevil.
Ashes is a rich brown purple colour. So this shade is the only bad one in the palette, it just blends completely out like it is just a terrible shade. Only thing that i am disappointed about in this palette is that one shade.

What i like about this palette is that there are more matte shades than shimmers, so it gives you a good variety to work with then if there were too many shimmer, sometimes they can be very intimidating if there are one to many.
It's one of those palettes that every shade goes together unlike some they are always a couple of odds colour thrown into the mix but not with this palette, the colour coordination is perfect.

I've been using this palette for the past week and i can easily say it is up there with my all time favourites shadows already, i am so impressed with the pigmentation of these, it is by far the best and my favourite naked palette this Urban Decay has brought out.
I think it is definitely worth the money, if you love warm colours like me then you will love this palette, i like the fact that i can just use this palette and create a warm smokey eye without digging into any other palette, all it is missing is a black shade then it would of been the ultimate warm palette.
If your unsure about purchasing it, i recommend going into Debenhams and swatching them for yourself and see what you think, don't think many of you would be disappointment.

That's all for now guys, Hope you enjoyed this post.
Let me no what you all would like to see for my next few posts, always want to get feedback from you guys.
 Thanks so much reading!
Love Lyndsey xo
