How to get that Gorgeous Glow !!

All my ladies who want to know how to get the perfect Glow and Highlight to the skin this post is going to give you a tips and tricks so just keep on reading !!

If you are naturally an oily girl like me and don't want to look oily just pick the steps that you prefer or which you feel most comfortable with.

First of all, if you love your skin to look glowy and dewy the best to things to do to achieve that look are the following.

STEP 1

- Add a liquid illumatior to your skin -
you can do this by either applying onto your skin after you have primed your face.
OR
you can add it in with your foundation.

These liquid illuminator are the ones I use regularly, There are plenty other makeup brands (such as Inglot, L'Oreal, Nars, Benefit) that have liquid illuminators these are just the ones I currently have in my collection and I would recommend.

- Rimmel Good to Glow illuminator
I use 001 notting hill glow in this illuminator and its so beautiful!! Its really lightweight on the skin and makes you look so healthy. It adds the perfect amount of radiance to your makeup.

- NYX Liquid Illuminator
Nyx have one other liquid illuminator but I love this one because it sinks into the skin beautifully, It makes the skin look very refreshed and glowy. You can still see the nice glow through your foundation.

- Sleek Barekissed Illuminator
This actual sleek illuminator adds the perfect amount of luminosity to the skin and I just love it!! sleek have 3 other different shades to choose from, I prefer to use this one.

STEP 2

- Do not add to much setting powder as this will allow your face to go matte(as most of you would already know) -
Any setting powder will do but make sure you don't pack to much onto the skin and leave it looking cakey.

STEP 3

- When applying blush (only if you like to apply it) use one that has a slight shimmer to it -
Don't apply too much as you do not want to look to over the top like a clown with shimmery cheeks, so tap off any excess product from your blush and use a light hand to apply it.

- Essences silky touch blushes
I really like these essences blushes as they have a little shimmer to them which adds such a nice glow to the cheeks.

- Ted Baker blush
This blush also has some shimmer to it and its stunning when its applied to the cheeks.

Other blushes with a slight shimmer in them that I would totally recommend are Bobbi Brown, Sleek and Mac.

STEP 4

 - Time to highlight those cheekbones and other areas you like you apply your highlight -
if you want an intense highlight pack on that highlighter!! you want to see that highlight from space!
if you would rather just a more suttle highlight well tap off any excess product on your brush and brush it into your skin lightly.

These are my favourite highlighters and these are what I use to always highlight my face, ill always choose between these three and also any of my sleek palettes (totally forgot to include them) and they give me that glow that lasts all day.

- The Balm, Mary Lou Manzier
This has to be the best highlighter on the market, it is so beautiful I cannot put into words how I feel about this highlighter, it just adds the perfect glow to the skin! if you don't have it already go get it right now!!

- Catrice, Highlighting Eyeshadow
I love this Catrice highlight eyeshadow. yes It is an eyeshadow but it works great on the cheek bones as well, it adds a gorgeous glowiness to the tops of them.

- Inglot Highlighting Trio
This trio from Inglot is stunning! they have 4 different shades and I got no.103, because the lighter colours in this trio are more golden and I prefer my highlight to have that slight gold to them and not a white highlighter. This Inglot one is so pigmented and doesn't go oily throughout the day.

STEP 5

-When you have finally finished your makeup set your face with a dewy finish setting spray-
This will help your makeup stay in place and add a little dewiness to the rest of your skin.

- NYX, Dewy Skin Setting Spray
This is the perfect setting spray to set your makeup with because it just adds the right amount of dewiness to the skin without you looking oily straight away and it locks your makeup in place for hours.

Please bare in mind that you do not have to do every single step, you can just do any one that you prefer or none at all. It is your face and you can do whatever u like to it so if step 1, or step 3 is enough for u then go ahead and just use that step you don't have to proceed with the rest. I just wanted to share my tips on how I achieve this look with you guys and I hope this helped some of you
