1) Eyes

Moisturizer and primers are applied before I start any makeup...
I always start off with the eye make up, because if there is an fallout it is easy to wipe away. Where as if you did your base makeup first and then the eyes, any fall out will ruin your base makeup. I decided I wanted to do something that my mam wouldn't normally go for, just to show her what make up can really do, so we went all out with the eyes.

Step 1 - I applied Rimmel Lasting Concealer on the eyelids to act as an eye base. 7
Step 2 - Set that with a powder in the Hot Totty Palette
Step 3 - I used Inglot's no. 357 which is matte beige brown colour as my transition shade and blend that out into the crease.
Step 4 - I applied whiskey in the Naked Smoky Palette all over the lid and blended it out into the crease.
Step 5 - Then I added a little of Inglot's no. 607 into the crease just to add a little more colour and blended that out.
Step 6 - Did a winged liner with Essences Dip Eyeliner
Step 7 - Created another type of wing with Collection Glam Crystals Gel Liner in gold.
Step 8 - Applied whiskey from the Naked Smoky Palette under the lower lash line and I blended it all out.
Step 9 - Then I applied a little of Inglot's no.607 under the lower lash line also.
Step 10 - I added some false lashes Kiss i- Envy Lashes in natural with Duo Glue to make the eyes a bit more dramatic.
Step 11 - Lastly I applied L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes Mascara to the top lashes to make sure they blend into the fake eyelashes applied and added some to bottom lashes too.

2) Brows

Next up is the Eyebrows, I just like to more on to brows when I'm done the eyes because how I do eyebrows is included within the eyes

Step 1 - I brushed the brow hairs with a disposable mascara wand.
Step 2 - I applied Rimmel Lasting Finish concealer under the brows and blended it out.
Step 3 - I then started to fill the brows in with the wax in the Sleek Eyebrow Kit in dark from the middle of the brows to the end of the brows.
Step 4 - I set all that wax with the powder in the Sleek Eyebrow kit.
Step 5 - Using just the powder from the eyebrow kit, I apply it from the middle to the beginning of the brows and because my mam has very small brows, I wanted them to look a little longer, so I added a little more powder to the start.
Step 6 - I Set the eyebrows with Essences Make Me Brow gel mascara.
Step 7 - When the eyebrows are all filled in, I cleaned up around them with the Rimmel Lasting Finish concealer.
Step 8 - Lastly I added white pressed powder from the Hot Totty Powder Palette, under the eyebrow on the brow bone to highlight that area.

3) Face

Once I have the Eyes and Eyebrows done, I move on to the face makeup. My mam has very normal skin, but does have a little bit of dry skin every now and again. I find that MAC's Studio Fix foundation works for all skin types and gives an medium to full coverage without looking cakey, so that's the foundation that we went with, and I added a little of No.7 Stay Perfect foundation.
Skin prep is already done and primers were applied before makeup is started

Step 1 - I mixed MAC's studio fix foundation with No.7 Stay Perfect foundation together and apply it to the face.
Step 2 - I then applied Urban Decays Naked Skin Concealer under the eyes, down the bridge of nose, middle of forehead and chin to highlight the face and blended it all in using a beauty blender.
Step 3 - Using the dark L.A girl pro conceal concealer, I contoured the face, applied it to the hallows of the cheeks, sides of the forehead and down each side of her nose, to make her nose appear smaller.
Step 4 - Took the light L.A. girl pro conceal concealer and applied it under the hallows of her cheeks, just to get a strong contour and blended it all out.
Step 5 - After contour and highlight I set under the eyes using the NYX highlight & contour pro palette in the shade cream.
Step 6 - Then using the shade Nectar from the NYX highlight and contour palette I set the rest of the face make up.
Step 7 - Went over the cream contour with the shade sculpt in the NYX palette and blended it all out making sure there were no harsh lines or that it did not look dirty.
Step 8 - I applied some blush to the apples of her cheeks to add a little colour using a Ted Baker Blush.
Step 9 - After blush was done, I moved on to highlighting the face with The Balm, Mary Lou Manizer. I applied it to cheeks bones, down the centre of her nose, cupids bow, and a little on her chin.
Step 10 - Once the face makeup is complete, I set it all using Urban Decays All Nighter Setting Spray, to set the makeup into place and make sure it would last throughout the day.

4) LIPS

Lastly is the lips. Since my mam has quiet small lips, we opted for a ombre lip because it makes your lips look fuller than what they really are buy applying a darker colour on the outer parts and a lighter colour in the centre.

Step 1 - I lined her lips using a Mac lipliner in the shade 'whirl'.
Step 2 - Using a lip brush, I applied a Mac lipstick in the shade 'verve' to the outer parts of her bottom and top lip.
Step 3 - Then added a little bit Essences lipstick in the shade 'wearing only a smile' to the centre of the lips and blended it into verve with a lip brush.

Finished Look

With and without makeup, my mam is stunning!!!
Anyway, thank you all so much for reading, I hope you guys enjoy this post :)
