The Countdown | 30 Weeks Pregnant

Welcome back to my blog everyone.

Look how far we are now, in my last trimester and my final few weeks. Less than 10 weeks and I will have my baby girl in my arms (lets hope I don't go over) I'm excited & nervous which is totally fine for any mother to be, the emotions are all over the place and will be for a while so the next few weeks are being spent getting the room ready, hospital bags complete and relaxing as much as I possibly can because once this princess get's here there will be no me time. So I'm going to take full advantage of It all now while I still can.

Now that were officially counting down the weeks, The whole labour thing is really on my mind. Like I said above I'm excited and nervous all in one. I'm nervous over not knowing what's going to happen, and how much pain I'll be in,  I'm no good with pain, I'm the biggest wuss when I get a headache so I'm really not looking forward to going into labour and I'm sure Mark Isn't looking forward to it either, my birthing partner has a blood phobia so that's going to be fun to see how he reacts to it all.
No matter how many times I talk to any mammy's about labour and giving birth, it makes absolutely no difference to me, because I still don't know what to expect. Obviously once you have a little baby the second time around wont be half as bad but It's still so scary. I know once I have her that all of that worry will just be gone and I will wonder to myself why I worried so much, but at the time you just can't help it. I will more than likely be doing a whole post dedicated to labour after she's here because I think it's good for people to hear about everyone else's experiences as there all so different if you all would be interest in that kind of post.

I just have to talk about them movements and kicks for a sec. There are no words to describe the feeling it gives me, Now that she's getting bigger her kicks aren't are strong because she doesn't have much room in there. But when she does move around my heart could just burst, I get so bloody happy and excited! It's more of a relief thing for us mammy's, Well for me It defiantly is.
I've noticed a lot lately though that she can be very quiet some days and not move that much, the odd little movements throughout the day, When that happens I do be in a terrible mood for the day and worried sick but as long as I feel something every once in a while during the day, It's nothing to worry about. But because I know how strong she can be and how much she can move I want her to do that every day, me being so selfish and not letting my baby rest haha.
I'm going to share some of my relaxing tips with you guys below, These also get her to move too, so hopefully some of these will benefit you guys.

This is great for any of us who may be suffering with back pain, I'm lucky enough to be fairly okay with my back, But when I do feel like It's starting to pain me I'll hop into the bath and light candles and listen to music and just relax.

Light Candles

If you feel a little bit stress, go to your bedroom light some candles, lie down and take some deep breaths and enjoy being on your own while you can, Once your baby is here you won't be able to do that. So take full advantage of that moment while you still can.

Play Relaxing Music

This is my number 1 tip!!! Relaxing music, completely calms you and your baby down. It can also help you sleep better, From my personal experience I find when I lie down and play some really calm music I get very sleepy and end up having a decent sleep. No harm in trying.

Ditch that phone, for a good book for you and your baby. Firstly let's your baby hear your relaxing voice. Helps with any stress or anxiety you might have. Takes your mind of things and relaxes your brain.

Go for a walk

Walking not only helps you get ready for baby, There are so many health benefits to walking too such as lower risk of Pre-Eclampsia & Gestational Diabetes. Also help's with any aches and pains you may have. You will also feel so good after a walk and will help you sleep better too.

Massage Your Bump

Not only does massaging your bump help you relax and reduce stress. It help's you bond with your baby. Use some bio oil as this helps with stretch marks.

All of them relaxing tips, have really been helping me calm down, relax and sleep better, so be sure to give it a go. Also making sure your eating some what healthy and drinking will do you and the baby the world of good! But don't go too crazy on the healthy eating, if you crave something sugary don't be afraid to give your body what it wants. It wont do any harm to you or your baby.

I just want to say and I don't care what anyone say's I'm proud of myself during this time, I never thought I'd be able to do this and now I'm doing the most magical thing on this planet  and growing a beautiful baby.
It amazes me what us women can do, we truly are amazing! and I will never understand why we always tend to put each other down, but that's a different story for a different day. To any women that has became a mother, given birth, or carried a baby, you are all such an inspiration! Be so very proud of yourself cause It ain't easy.

That is all I have to say for now, I really hopped you all enjoy this post!
Thank you so much for reading and I'll be back next week with another one.
