Another snow day | Another blog post.
I asked you guys over on Snapchat and Instagram to send me in some questions ages ago now as I wanted to do a Q&A blog post just because I am slightly losing motivation and this was the only thing i could think of that would be some what interesting for me. Literally all the questions I got were beauty or makeup related So here we are and I am just going to get straight into it.
Q1 - What made you start getting into makeup and beauty ?
I always had a little thing for my Hair, Nails and Makeup. When I was in school I wanted to go to college and study social care but 6th year was a very difficult year for me so I knew I wasn't going to get enough points so I decided beauty was the best for me and I fell in love with it.
Q2 - What is your favourite makeup brand ?
This is so hard for me to answer! I don't really have a favourite, I am one of them girls who just loves anything that is good!!!
My Top 5 would be Morphe, Urban Decay, Anastasia Beverly Hills, NYX and MAC. Oh and I also love Inglot. See I really cannot choose one.

Q3 - Why did you start blogging ?
I started blogging 2 years ago because I love everything about makeup and beauty. I started out doing makeup from home and the amount of questions I always got asked on a daily basis. So I thought a blog was the best place for me to share all my tips and tricks so here we are.

Q4 - Would you ever do makeup lessons ?
Definitely I would love to do one on one lessons for sure, but I feel so many people are doing makeup now that I wouldn't get a lot of girls that would be interested. Its a definite possibility.
Q5 - Where did you study beauty ?
I did a Beauty Therapy course in Newbridge in 2014-2015 so that is where I got most of my knowledge and training from, but I have done 2 separate one day Shellac Courses, Gel Nail course, Waxing Course, and a Tanning course.
I will soon be adding more to the list, can never do enough beauty courses! Keep yo eyes peeled ;)

Q6 - What is your life plan ?
I don't exactly have a life plan, I just know what I want in life. I want to have my own makeup studio one day, enough money to support my ma and da, have a family and live a in princess house(haha I want a nice big house)

Q7 - What do you think of the Sosu Brushes ?
Adore them !! They are amazing, I wasn't expecting much from them because I honestly thought they were going to be very like the crown brushes, but I am obsessed with them. The eyebrow brush is for sure my fave!!
Q8 - What tan do you wear ?
I go from one tan to another all of the damn time. But one I keep going back to you is the Rimmel Mousse in Dark, I really think its the only tan that doesn't go patchy, its so easy to take off and doesn't smell bad either. I love it!
Q9 - Your dream job ?
I think most makeup artist dream job would be to work for a big makeup brand like Inglot. I feel like if i ever got to work for them, I wouldn't care about anything else, bad I know but I have been so obsessed with becoming an Inglot MUA since I first got into makeup and I also know its not that hard to get into a store when u work hard for it but I am happy where I am at the minute.
One day I would love to have my own little makeup studio but that will prob never happen because there will be about 5 in every town by the time I get myself together so an Inglot MUA is enough for me right now.

Q10 - If you did not get into the beauty industry, what would you be doing with yourself right now ?
Definitely working with kids. I love kids and that was my original plan to work with them, but i fell in love with makeup.
Q11 - Advice for someone who wants to get into makeup ?
Honestly if you want to get into makeup, I really think its so important to go and do a makeup course!! So many girls are Self taught now but don't no anything about hygiene!!!!! and that's the one thing that they constantly teach you in a course. So a course and lots of practice !!!
Q12 - Best Primer for oily skin ?
Inglot mattifying primer or Soap & Glory one heck of a blot. Both are unreal for oily skin and my personal favourites.
Q13 - How often do you buy makeup ?
Every week without fail. I have a problem.
Q14 - Is it hard working in the beauty industry ?
Very hard, people don't realise its not easy working in beauty, there is so many things you need to know. So many people you have to compete with.
Q15 - Would you ever start a YouTube channel ?
Hmmm I would love to maybe in a few years, as of right now I don't have the time I would like to keep building my skills for another year or two and then start. But then again you never no when the time is right.
Q16- Where is all your vanity furniture from ?
My drawers, table top & lights are all from Ikea. My Mirror is from Eden Decor. And my table top with my name on it my boyfriend got it made for me so I have no clue where that is from. I might just do a whole blog post dedicated to my vanity.
Q17 - If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be ?
I would love to have better eye sight. I love my glasses and I'm not 100% myself without them but i wish I didn't have to wear them all of the time!! I would love to be able to see even a little without them. I would like to start wearing contacts but I ain't good with poking myself in the eye.
Q18 - Best foundation to have in a makeup kit ?
L'Oreal True Match for a more affordable one, and Illamasque skin base is a good all rounder but on the more expensive side.
Q19 - What eye-shadow palette is the best ?
My personal favourite palette would be the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance I am obsessed with that one but mine is just gone..... I also adore the Jaclyn Hill Morphe palette, That is definitely one you need if you don't have it.
Q20 - What beauty work do you do other than makeup ?
I am a fully qualified Beauty Therapist, Nail Technician & Makeup Artist.
So I do, Advanced waxing, Tinting, Facials, Massage, Spray Tan
Manicure, Pedicure, Shellac nails, Gel nails
Individual lashes, Makeup
Q21 - How do you take your pictures for your blog and for your makeup ?
I take all my pictures on my Iphone 6s or my boyfriends phone which is a Iphone 7, He takes lots of my pics for me because he's a great boy.
Q22 - One thing you can't leave the house without ?
My watch, weird I know of all things but it is honestly the one thing I cannot forgot
Q23 - Why don't you talk in your snapchat ?
I try all the time, but I just sit there laughing at myself for a solid 10 minutes. I just cannot take myself seriously.
Q24 - What was the first expensive makeup product you bought ?
Wasn't everyone's either a Naked Palette or a Mac Lipstick? I'm not 100% sure which I bought first but it was definitely one of them.
