My Everyday Makeup Routine

Today is going to be all about my everyday makeup. Makeup i wear to work and etc.

My everyday makeup is a tad more dramatic than your usual everyday makeup because i am dramatic af and i do not care.. This is what i like to do and its me. 

I always do my eyes and brows before I do my face makeup. I prefer to do so in case any eyeshadow has fall out which makes it much easier to clean up when you don't have your foundation applied. 

But if you do apply your base first, a great trick I've seen on Youtube, is to bake your under eyes with loose powder and let the powder sit and apply your shadow, and brush the powder away once your done and any fall out with go with it. I have been trying it lately, and it is a great little trick to do, but I am more comfortable with doing my eyes first. It's just about finding what works best for you. 

B A S E 

  Primer -  Benefit Pore Fessional

Since I have slightly larger pores, This is the only primer that fills them in perfectly and smooths out my skin. My skin always looks so much more flawless with this under my foundation.

Foundation - Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation and/or Wet And Wild Photofocus Foundation

I like to mix these two together most of the time, I love both on there own but together they work even better!!! I always use a brush and pat the foundation into the skin, this way you don't get any brush streaks from rubbing it in, and looks a lot more natural as it melts into the skin. 

Concealer - Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer & PS My Perfect Colour Concealer 

Urban decay concealer is my all time favourite concealer ever !!
I place this down the centre of my face, ( middle of forehead, centre of nose, cupids bow and middle of chin) and also under my eyes.
PS... Concealer is very similar to the urban decay naked skin, wand is exact same and feels very lightweight but great coverage, i place this under my eyes over the naked skin concealer.
Same as foundation i always pat my concealer in, this makes the concealer melt into the foundation, so it is all one.


Powder - RCMA No Colour Powder & Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder

RCMA powder is my new love! I use it to bake under my eyes with a damp beauty sponge to make sure my concealer is set down properly.
Rimmel stay matte is my ride or die powder. I use for the rest of my face.


Bronzer - Hoola Bronzer

This is pretty much all i ever use, its the perfect bronzer. I put bronzer on my cheeks & either sides of my forehead, helps my huge forehead look a little smaller.


Contour - Inglot Sculpting Powder in 506

 Only powder I use to contour, Works perfectly with or without a tan as you can build it up to a deeper colour. I apply this in the hallows of my cheeks and I also contour my nose using this too. When applying contour, you should always use circular motions so it all blends and doesn't look like a line on your face.


Blush - Essences Satin Touch Blush in satin bronze 

Love these blushes, but the one in satin bronze is my absolute favourite. There really isn't a right or wrong way to apply blush, just make sure when you blend it into your bronzer and contour.


Highlight - Sosu Highlight Kit in shooting star

because what else do i use? I apply this pretty much all over my face, tops of my cheeks, on my brow bone, cupids bow, and down the centre of my nose.


E Y E S

Eyeshadow's - Anastasia Beverly Hill Modern Renaissance palette and my Z palette

The Anastasia Modern Renaissance palette is the only one i know i can count on.

 I use golden ochre in the crease and then darken it with burnt orange, right below where i placed burnt orange i applied red ochre, darken the outer corner of the eye with cyprus umber

And from my z palette i use makeup geeks corrupt and place that on the outer corner to deepen it up.
 under my eyes - I apply red ochre and blend it all out and the with makeup geeks corrupt i blend right into the lash line and smoke it out.


Liner - Inglot Gel Liner in 77

The only gel liner that actually lasts all day long, doesn't smudge and is overall incredible. I apply this in the waterline and to the inside of my eye to make a cat eye like eye.


Mascara - L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes

My favourite mascara, it's the best one i have used in a long long time, adds so much volume to my lashes and makes them super black.


B R O W S

Brow Gel - Inglot Brow Gel in 19

The only thing I will ever use to fill in my brows, cannot live without it.
I always start in the middle of my brows and work my way out, then with barely anything on my brush I go ahead and blend the rest into the front of brows brushing them up and keeping them more natural at the front.

Brow mascara - PS... Brow Fibre Gel

Been using this for a while now, and i love it. I use this in the front of my brows, it makes them look a lot more natural and full.

L I P S

Lip Liner - PS... Lip liner in dessert sand

Think most of you know that this is my all time favourite lip liner ever!! I use this everyday no matter what colour lipstick I go for.


Lipstick - MAC velvet teddy & PS... Matte long lasting lipstick

I like to wear a mac lipstick most days because I no it lasts on me and I can get hours without topping up my lipstick with my mac ones. I use velvet on the outer parts of my lips and i like to add a lighter colour in the middle of my lips for an ombre look and lately I'm loving the PS... Matte long lasting lipstick It doesn't have a shade no. or name but it is the lightest shade.

That is my everyday makeup routine for most days. As I said at the start of this post, It isn't your regular everyday makeup but I love makeup and I feel more myself when its a little more dramatic, its what I like more. Everyone's different and that's one I love about makeup, you can do whatever you like and whatever makes you comfortable.
