Hey everyone, Welcome back to another pregnancy post. I have a lot of these coming up over the next while so be ready for a pregnancy spam (sorry in advance haha)
We recently found out we are having a BABY GIRL!! And we are all beyond excited.
As most of you prob would of seen on Sunday 2nd of September, We did a gender reveal balloon pop. I have to say It was the most amazing emotional day for me. Me & Mark did not know the gender until we popped the balloon hence why I was crying in the video (if you would like to see the video it's on my Instagram) We wanted It to be a surprise with our families, It meant so much more.
I can't even begin to describe the feeling I got when I finally knew, We're about to bring a little princess Into the world and I cannot contain my excitement!!
The day before of our gender reveal, We had our 3D scan which was amazing! We went to Scan me In Mullingar and the ladies In there were so so lovely, we explained that we wanted the gender but we ourselves didn't want to know so asked If they could write It down and pop It In an envelope for us, which they did.
Mark of course wanted a teddy with the heartbeat and they have both gender colours and a neutral one. We were going to just go with the neutral one until the lady In reception said to us that If we wanted the colour of the gender she could pop It Into a sealed plastic envelope which of course we went with!!! So we had 2 little reveals to do on the Sunday. Whilst we were getting our scan, our baby was upside down as usual and facing inwards so we couldn't see her little face just the side of her head with her hand up covering her face. It's like she really didn't want to show mammy and daddy her gorgeous little face.
Because a 3D scan is all about really looking into the baby's growth, organs and getting the cute little pictures at the end, They asked me to come back just to get some face pictures which was so nice of them, she spent long enough measuring our little baba and making sure she was healthy she didn't have to do that but of course we said yes and are due back on the 22nd just to see her little face, and I'm really hoping she'll look out at us this time haha.
I however was on the fence I just didn't want to settle on a name until she got here because I feel like there could be something better out there, but I really don't think there is, Everyone loves it so if she looks like that name once shes out it'll be her name. I know absolutely nobody with this name which makes me like it even more, I want something no one else has for my girl so it kind of fits of perfectly.
We are now past the 23 week mark heading 24 which Is only 3 & a bit more months and she'll be here which is crazy, we still have so much to do. Time goes by so quickly and although I'm excited. I'm also very scared especially when it's your first, you don't have a clue what your doing but all you can do is your best and when it's your baby, no one can tell you how to bring your own baby's up in this world. Me & Mark are very lucky to have so much love and support around us and I am beyond grateful.
I don't think I have anything else to say right now but I will keep you posted between here and Instagram, I know loads of you are interested and I have to say a huge thank you to all the girls who messaged me over my pregnancy story, It meant the world to me and I really appreciate it!

This is one of the 3D pictures, her little ear and hand just melts my heart, I'm literally counting down the days, weeks until she gets here.
And We have pretty much decided on a name for her too, I picked it the second we found out I was pregnant and Mark loved it (and now wont stop calling her by that name haha)I however was on the fence I just didn't want to settle on a name until she got here because I feel like there could be something better out there, but I really don't think there is, Everyone loves it so if she looks like that name once shes out it'll be her name.
